Lots of basketball will be played at Chadron State College this weekend during the annual CSC Hoop Shoot. It is for teams made up of players from the fourth through the eighth grades.
The director, Janet Raymer, said 77 teams from Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado have registered. That’s the most in the nine years that the CSC women’s basketball team has been in charge.
A total of 145 games are scheduled in the Armstrong Building, Chicoine Center and Nelson Physical Education Center.
The action will begin at 8 o’clock Saturday and run to about 8 p.m. that evening. Sunday’s schedule also will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to conclude at about 6 p.m.
