A one-night wake service starts Tues, April 5, at 1:00, also at the T&T Center in Wanblee, SD.
Cynthia Ann (Morrison) Antelope was born on April 23, 1965 in Pine Ridge, SD to Clifford Morrison, Sr. and Elizabeth (Good Voice Elk) Morrison. Cynthia made her journey to the Spirit World on March 24, 2022 in Potato Creek, SD.
Cynthia loved to joke and pull pranks on people. She enjoyed making people laugh. Cynthia was the type of person to open her home to anyone in need and always answered her phone, day or night. She will be remembered by her love for her grandchildren.
Cynthia is survived by her children, Agnes Morrison, Misty Taggart-Handfield, Esther Antelope, Dennis “DJ” Antelope, and John White Antelope; siblings, Debra (Roger) Frazier, Wilbur Morrison, Christopher (Dawn) Morrison, Becky Dewhurst of Kentucky, Tim Phelps of Colorado, and Julia Morrison; Hunka sisters, Alaequah Moves camp, Linda Marshall, and Wanda Waters; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford, Sr. & Elizabeth (Good Voice Elk) Morrison; husband, Floyd Antelope, Sr.; son, Floyd Chingman, Jr.; siblings, Stella Antelope, Edna Antelope, Marian White Mouse, Sarah Martinez, Clifford Morrison, Jr., Dale Morrison, Sr., and Mike Morrison; uncle, Gary Good Voice Elk; aunts, Vienna Good Voice Elk, Doris Good Voice Elk, Bessie Good Voice Elk, and Mabel Bullman-Long Soldier; niece, Jessica Morrison; granddaughter, Cadence Mesteth; and Hunka sister, Linda Thornton.
Pallbearers will be Pejuta Moves Camp, Julius Has No Horse, Charles Morrison, Raymond Frazier, Conan “Bub” Morrison, Chester Handfield, Anthony Brave Heart, and Andy Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Apple, Ambrose Martinez, and All Friends & Relatives.
