Funeral services for 43-year old Dacia Pretty Bird are Thurs, May 25, 2023 at 11:00 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD, with Ms Joyce Tibbitts officiating and traditional Lakota services by Richard Moves Camp
Burial is at St Ignatius Catholic Cemetery in Wanblee.
A one-night wake service starts Wed, May 24, at 3:00 at the TNT Center in Wanblee.

Dacia Janelle Pretty Bird was born on July 17, 1979 in Rapid City, SD to Richard Bald Eagle Bear and Mary Pretty Bird. Dacia made her journey to the Spirit World on May 5, 2023 at her home in Portland, OR.
Dacia is survived by her father Richard (Agatha) Bald Eagle Bear; mother Mary Pretty Bird; children Martine Pretty Bird, Gloria, Brianna, and Gregorio “Georgie”; sister Miranda Pretty Bird; brothers Aaron Rivera and Frank Begay; grandmother Cecelia Bald Eagle Bear; aunts/uncles Lovencia Blue Arm, Daryl “Geno”, Maggie, Lyle, Thomas, and Karyn Thunder Hawk, and Harvey (Priscilla) Pretty Bird; special friend Nico Aguire; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dacia was preceded in death by her sisters Rochelle and Andrea Pretty Bird; great-grandparents Pete & Mary Bald Eagle Bear; and grandparents Frederick, Lorene, Evangeline and Paul Bald Eagle Bear.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
