OMAHA, Neb. – Dan Osborn’s latest comments prove exactly why Nebraskans can’t trust a word he says.
After the third assassination attempt targeting the President, Osborn rushed to say he was “grateful” for the law enforcement officers who risked their lives to stop it.
But Osborn is actively siding with the same Washington Democrats who are willing to leave those very officers without a paycheck.
Osborn has made clear he would vote with Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats to force a shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security, a move that would halt pay for Secret Service agents, border patrol, and countless law enforcement personnel who protect Americans every single day.
If you’re willing to deny a paycheck to the officers who just put their lives on the line, you don’t support law enforcement.
Dan Osborn himself has referred to law enforcement as “Chicken Shit” for simply doing their jobs.
Osborn has surrounded himself with extreme, anti-police figures, including a staffer who attended a “defund the police” rally where severed pig heads were publicly displayed outside the Omaha Police Officers Association headquarters in an attempt to glorify violence against officers.
That’s not an accident. It’s a reflection of who Dan Osborn really is, another far-left “defund the police” Democrat.
