Funeral services for 57-year old Darla Bettelyoun (Knuth) are Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 2:00 at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin, SD.
Cremation will follow the services with inurnment to be held at a later date
A two-night wake service starts Monday, August 2, at 1:00, also at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin
Darla Bettelyoun (Knuth) was born on August 28, 1963 in Pine Ridge, SD to Everrett Bettelyoun and Emma Ruff. Darla made her journey to the Spirit World on July 26, 2021.
Darla is survived by her spouse, James Knuth; daughters, Marie Standing Bear (Cottier) and Kriana Running Hawk; sons, Marcus Cottier and William Bettelyoun; siblings, Wynona Cottier (Bettelyoun), Mary Fern Bettelyoun, and Spencer Standing Bear; and grandchildren, Ariana Standing Bear and Charles James Standing Bear.
Darla was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Ruff (Bettelyoun); father, Everrett Bettelyoun; brothers, Charles Bettelyoun, Joseph (Ozzie) Bettelyoun, and Richard Bettelyoun, Sr.; sisters, Irene Bettelyoun and Julie Bettelyoun; nieces, Twylita D. Bettelyoun, Santana Standing Bear, and Sharon Cottier; and nephew, James Cottier.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Bettelyoun, Richard R. Cottier, Gerald Richards, Roby Cottier, David Cottier, Mike Loafer, Jacob Cottier, and Dustin Cottier.
