Funeral services for 62-year old Darlene Yellow Cloud are Tues, Jan 4,  2022 at11:00 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD, with Reverend Asa Wilson officiating.

Burial is at Our Lady of the Sioux Catholic Cemetery, Oglala, SD

A one-night wake service starts Mon, Jan 3, at 2:00, also at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD

Darlene Kay Yellow Cloud was born on September 26, 1959 in Greeley, CO to Burgess Yellow Cloud and Alvina Lone Elk. Darlene made her journey to the Spirit World on December 19, 2021 at the St. Vincent’s Healthcare Medical Center in Billings, MT.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Oliver Brown Bull Sr; sons Charles Yellow Cloud, Oliver Brown Bull Jr, and Scott Brown Bull; siblings Olivia Yellow Cloud, Todd Yellow Cloud, Darrel Yellow Cloud, Merlinda Yellow Cloud, and Tyrone Kindle; and grandchildren Riley, Marques, Melody, Marley and Mystikal.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Burgess Yellow Cloud and Alvina Lone Elk; sister Belva Kindle; brother Wayne Kindle; aunts Fannie Lone Elk, Loretta Lone Elk, and Charlotte Lone Elk; uncles Marty Lone Elk, Elmer Lone Elk, James Lone Elk Jr, Wade Lone Elk and Peter Lone Elk; and grandfather James Lone Elk, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Jerilyn Arredondo, Shawnee Red Bear, Sharon Two Bulls, Shawn Tobacco, Justin Two Bulls, Pernel Crow, Wayne Not Help Him, Greg Yellow Horse, Dale Bear Saves Life and Derek Yellow Cloud.
