Funeral services for 82-year old Louise Makes Good are Mon, Jan 3, 2021 at 1:00 at the American Horse School in Allen, SD, with Lay Minister Anthony Wounded Head officiating.
Burial is at the Makes Good Family Cemetery in Allen.
A two-night wake service will be held. The first night starts Sat, Jan 1, at 1:00 at the Makes Good residence in Allen. The second night starts Sun, Jan 2, at 1:00 at the American Horse School in Allen.,
Louise Mercy (Broken Rope) Makes Good was born on April 30, 1939 in Lawrence, KS to Godfrey W. Broken Rope and Lucy (Brown Thunder) Broken Rope. Louise made her journey to the Spirit World on December 25, 2021 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Tallman, Elizabeth Makes Good, Danielle (Tom) Fast Wolf, Ruby Plenty Arrows, Carol Janis and Anna (Terry) Dunn; sons, Stacy Makes Good and Webbie Makes Good; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren whom she loved equally with all of her heart.
Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Reverend Daniel Makes Good; parents, Godfrey and Lucy Broken Rope; brothers, Vine, Frank, Alvin, Joe, Raymond and John Broken Rope; sister, Edna Broken Rope; and grandchildren, Tracy Makes Good, Patrick Good Soldier, Tyrell Makes Good, Michelle Two Heart and Baby Cody Good Soldier.
Pallbearers will be Buck Tallman, Dylan Good Soldier, Will Plenty Wolf, Leon Olvera, Chris Means, Stephon Delorme, Mekko Bear Killer, Tim Fast Wolf, Jay Martinez, and Lane Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
