Darren John Red Bear was born on June 5, 1993 in Pine Ridge, SD to Susann Runs Along The Edge-Red Bear. Darren joined his loved ones in Heaven on June 14, 2022 in Lincoln, NE.
Darren was a caring, loving, and supportive person. He sure was one of a kind, he became friends with everyone he met. Darren had a heart of gold, one thing he loved doing was fishing and playing the PS4 online. He was a hard worker and helped anyone who needed help. He was a gentleman who loved his family and friends. Darren will be missed by many.
Darren is survived by his daughter, Khloe Red Bear; siblings, Pearl Red Bear, Kadin Red Bear, Bryan Red Bear, Robbie (Starkey) Poor Thunder, Elizabeth Starkey, Alicia Briones, Brandon Bad Wound, Duane I. Starkey, and Albert Starkey; godparents, Alex DuBray, Sr. and the late Maria Whirlwind Horse; aunts, Cheryl Hudelson, Verna Sanchez, Peggy DuBray, and Elizabeth DuBray; uncles, John Whirlwind Horse, Michael Whirlwind Horse, Sr., and Ronald DuBray, Sr.; great grandfather, Russell Whirlwind Horse; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Darren was preceded in death by his mother, Susann Red Bear; brothers, Moses Red Bear, Frank Red Bear, and Adrian Red Bear; special aunt, Maria Whirlwind Horse; uncles, Raymond Whirlwind Horse, Jr. and Paul Whirlwind Horse; aunt, Pauline Whirlwind Horse; great grandmother, Pearl Whirlwind Horse; grandmother, Elizabeth DuBray; and grandfathers, Raymond Whirlwind Horse, Sr. and Alex Long Pumpkin.
