Funeral services for 29-year old Daryl “Annie” Apple are Sat, July 16, 2022 at 10:00 at the Apple residence, 349 BIA 39-No Flesh Rd in Kyle, SD, with traditional Lakota Services by George Apple, Reed Brown Sr, and Larry Swalley
Burial will be held at a later date
Daryl Ann Apple was born on June 23, 1993 in Pine Ridge, SD to Darrell “Sam” Orville Apple and Stephanie Ann (Richards) Apple. Daryl made her journey to the Spirit World on July 5, 2022 near Kyle, SD.
Annie graduated high school from Little Wound in 2012 and was loved and respected by many. She worked at Dialysis Management near Kyle and loved her working team; they were her second family.
She enjoyed many things during her free time like playing horseshoes, going fishing, playing board games, swimming, drawing, and attending family events.
Annie was a freehand artist who loved to sketch and do arts and crafts. She would love to drive her mother around, go and gamble, and listen to George Strait music.
Annie made everyone laugh and she loved all her cousins she grew up with.
Daryl is survived by her parents, Darrell and Stephanie Apple; son, Jasper King Apple; siblings Rodney Richards Sr, Stacy Richards, Triston Apple, and Ty Apple; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Gregg; aunts, Anita Brown, Alfreda Patton, Jennifer Prue, Tyonnia Ghost Bear, Carmen Apple, and Leta Apple; uncles, Terry Little Whiteman, Todd Gregg, Mark Apple, Warren Apple, Filmore Richards, Clifford Richards, Jr., and James Richards; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Daryl was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dorothy Mae Richards and Clifford Wayne Richards, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Orville Darrell Apple; uncles, Leonard Ferguson, II, Rodney Richards, Lyle Richards, and Lewis Top Bear; aunt, Valeria Apple; and cousins, Lisa Jo Richards, Stephan Patton, and Shawn Brown.
Pallbearers will be Dave Fraser, Wyatt Mesteth, Courtney Rose, Holly Jo Clifford, Tiffany Yane Prue, Rodney James Richards, Sr., Stacy Lynn Richards, Triston Lee Apple, Ty Jordan Apple, Katherine Janis, and Alaina Clifford.
