At his request, there will be no services for 80-year old David Schnee
David Bertin Schnee was born in Scottsbluff, NE, on November 25, 1940, to Phoebe Dawn and Alonzo D Schnee, and died on November 7, 2021, in Torrington, Wyo.
David married Ruth Bachmann and while they were later divorced, they remained friends until his death.
David had many different careers in his lifetime. He farmed, drove trucks, worked as a ranch hand, and was employed by the Crawford Elevator and SWANN, the Solid Waste Agency of Northwest Nebraska.
When David moved to Torrington, Wyo. he started working for a couple on their horse ranch. He loved this job because he got to work with horses and got to travel.
David also loved to go to farm sales for fun. In his spare time, he liked to work on old cars and pickups. He also loved to fish and spend time with his friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents Phoebe and Alonzo Schnee and his sister Wanda Baxter.
He is survived by friends Troy and Martha Quay of Crawford, NE; Ben and Michael Jones of Torrington, Wyo; ex-wife Ruth Bachmann and nephew Bradley Baxter; and many friends.
