Eldonna Rae Prairie Chicken was born on August 18, 1961 in Pine Ridge, SD to Kenneth Dean Prairie Chicken and Christine Wheeler. Eldonna made her journey to the Spirit World on October 29, 2021 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO.
Eldonna is survived by her son, Justin Prairie Chicken; brother, Ken Prairie Chicken; two granddaughters; and special friend, Theresa Gomez.
Eldonna was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Prairie Chicken; mother, Christine (Garnier) Wheeler; nephew, Stephen Prairie Chicken; sister, Valerie Prairie Chicken; and brothers, Blaine and Marty Prairie Chicken.
Pallbearers will be Justin Prairie Chicken, Warren Giago, James Lawwrence, Stanley Garnier, Kenneth Prairie, Verlyn Garnier, Cleve Roubideaux, and the Jumping Eagle Family.
Honorary pallbearers will be Running Shield Family, Rencountre Family, Garnier Family, Jumping Eagle Family, Prairie Chicken Family, Theresa Gomez & Family, and All Friends & Relatives.
