Deanna Scherbarth Ferguson was born in Rushville, NE on Feb 22, 1952. and passed away January 21, 2024.
Deanna grew up and attended school in the Hay Springs area, but after college she worked as a draftsman in Colorado Springs, CO and Scottsbluff, NE.
Deanna loved deep-sea fishing as well as hunting for wild hogs in Texas, but also loved the Black Hills of South Dakota, especially Deadwood.
Deanna is survived by her son Kelly Schafer; sister Rita; brothers Jim, Tim and Daryl; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Stan and Rose Scherbarth.
Deanna will be missed by those who knew her.
