Funeral services for 82-year old Deborah Garner of Chadron, NE, are Thurs, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chadron.
Burial will be the next day, Friday March 3, at 11:00 CST at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE.
Visitation will be Wed, March 1, from 5-7:00 at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron.
A memorial has been established Our Savior’s Lutheran Church or the American Legion Auxiliary and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Deborah M Garner was born on March 12, 1940, in Eureka, CA, to the late Luther and Myrtle Thomas and passed away on February 23, 2023, at her home in Chadron.
Deborah married Kenneth L Garner on May 9, 1969. The couple moved to Chadron In 2009 after retiring.Â
Deborah is survived by her husband Kenneth L Garner; daughters Sheri Russell (Randy) of Ohio, Mona Hill of Maryland, and Tamorah Brauer (Timothy) of Texas; son Kenneth Joe Garner (Chris) of Maryland; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 foster grandchildren – Kayden, Mylee, Harlan and Case Kvistad.
She is also survived by her brother Daniel Thomas (Mary) of Texas; sister Esther Hensen (Lyle) of CA; and sister-in-law Becky Thomas of CA.
Preceding her in death were Richard and Elizabeth Garner (parents-in-law); and brothers David Thomas, Samuel Thomas, and Jonathan Thomas.
