Burial is at the Brave-Good Lance Family Cemetery in Oglala.
A two-night wake service starts Thurs, Dec 30, at 5:00, also at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala.
Donald Myron aka “Baby Boy” “Zondo” Brave “Cetan To Ohitika” ~ Blue Hawk Brave ~ was born on June 15, 1972 in Pine Ridge, SD to Albert Brave Sr. and Annabelle Between Lodge-Brave. Zondo made his journey to the spirit world in Oglala, SD.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Keith and Jackson Daniel of Rapid City, SD, Jacob Shane and Donald Forever Jr. of Oglala, SD and Kitana Grace of Hot Springs, SD, Daniel Freeman, Kateri, Ray, and Shawn; Grandchildren, Nymeria, Landon, Nahla, Prince and Bernard Jr., Kae’Lani, Ja’Myla & Annabelle; Brother, Albert Brave, Jr.; Sisters, Mona Brave, Lori Bagola, Essence Belt, Dana Chase, Leilani Long Soldier, Carol Lakota, Valerie Janis and Hilda Kills Small; Nieces, Brooke and Shannae (Mercedes, A’Marie & Anpo); Nephews, Derek Yellow Cloud, Cyrus (Cylinna & Jonathan James), Dylan, Albert III (Logan); and Aunts, Corrine Brave, Iris Between Lodge and Veronica Janis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Brave, Sr. and Annabelle Between Lodge-Brave; sister, Brenda; brother, Wade Bagola; Special winyan, Maggie Bores A Hole; Grandparents, Walter Between Lodge and Nora Frogg, Gilbert Brave and Jeannette Blue Horse Owner; Aunties, Karen & Noreen Between Lodge and Vera Good Lance; Uncles, Sammy Brave and Chauncey Lone Elk; Nephew, Jonathan James; Niece, Alicia Janis; and All tiwahe who have gone before.
