Funeral services for 57-year old Donna Little Moon are Thurs, Jan 13, 2022 at 2:00 at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD, with The Rev Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
Burial is at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wounded Knee.
A one-night wake service starts Wed, Jan 12, at 5:00, also at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee.
Donna Mae Little Moon was born on August 18, 1964 in Pine Ridge, SD to Alvina Sun Bear and Moses Little Moon. Donna made her journey to the Spirit World on December 23, 2021 at the Sutter Hospital in Sacramento, CA.
Donna is survived by her children, WeYan Techemang, Tara Whiting, Nikita Techemang, Cameron Techemang, Ty Techemang, Hunter Techemang, Parmalee Techemang, Wakiyan Little Moon, Samantha Ammon, and Aiden Ammon; siblings, Marvin Little Moon, Leslie Duong, Eldon Little Moon, Kelly Rae Conquering Bear, Jamie Little Moon, Roxanne Little Moon, and Toby Little Moon; and numerous grandchildren, she loved them all.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Alvina Sun Bear and Moses Little Moon; siblings, Albert Little Moon, Kathy Little Moon, and Jason Sun Bear; and grandparents, Daniel Sun Bear, Rose No Leaf-Sun Bear, Rose Iron Teeth-Little Moon; and Aloysious Little Moon.
Pallbearers will be Al Little Moon, Michael Little Moon, Tarrance Little Moon, Wakinyan Little Moon, Hunter Techemang, James “Wambo” Bear Eagle, John “John Boy” White Dress, and Nik Techemang.
