Funeral services for 49-year old Donna Yellow Boy are Sat, August 27, 2022 at 2:00 at the Red Shirt Table School Gymnasium in Red Shirt Table, SD, with the Rev Deacon Twyla Two Bulls officiating.
Burial is at Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery in Red Shirt Table.
A one-night wake service starts Friday, August 26, at 5:00 at the Red Shirt Table School Gymnasium with evening services starting at 7:00
Donna Faith Yellow Boy was born on September 30, 1972 in Pine Ridge, SD to Elton Yellow Boy, Sr. and Iris Yellow Horse. Donna made her journey to the Spirit World on August 19, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Donna is survived by her parents, Elton Yellow Boy, Sr. and Iris Yellow Horse; children, Brooke Standing Bear, Caitlyn Standing Bear, Brent Standing Bear, Cameron Standing Bear, Tanner Standing Bear, and Tristan Standing Bear; brothers, Marlon Yellow Boy, Eric S. Yellow Boy, and Elton Yellow Boy, Jr.; grandchildren, Romie Schierbeck, Lei’lynn Schierbeck, Nathan Standing Bear, Keizer Standing Bear, Isabella Alvarez, Emilio Alvarez, and Emily Alvarez; aunts, Martha Duron and Patricia War Bonnet; uncles, Delbert Yellow Horse, Patrick Yellow Boy, and Anthony Yellow Boy; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Tawny Standing Bear; spouse, Donald Standing Bear, Jr.; grandparents, Wilbert Yellow Horse and Delphine Two Bulls, Zelda Bear Robe, and Patrick Yellow Boy; and cousins, Carmen Yellow Horse and Susan Two Bulls.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Red Star, Michael Cuny, Wade Yellow Boy, Sage Yellow Boy, Shaun Yellow Boy, Trey Yellow Boy, Wayne “Turtle” Chief Eagle, and Christopher “CJ” Cuny, Jr.
