Doreen Lynn Brown “Wachihin Gxiwin” was born on October 11, 1975 in Rapid City, SD to Lester William Brown and Violet Catches. Doreen made her journey to the Spirit World on June 27, 2023 in Pierre, SD.
Doreen is survived by her mother Violet Catches; daughters Kellie Walking Eagle, Kaleen Walking Eagle, and KaiDee Walking Eagle; sons Jalen Walking Eagle, Manuel Bad Milk, and Waylon Bad Milk; siblings Merril “Shorty” Catches, Candace Brown, Lester Brown Jr, Jolene Thompson, Lawton Thompson, Sarah Catches, and Edwin Schenk; grandchildren Lester Carlow and Brylee & Keenan Walking Eagle; aunts Rose Swan, Bonnie Brown, Doreen Two Bulls, and Serena Provost; and uncles Richard Brown, Fred Brown, and Harold Brown,
Doreen was preceded in death by her father Lester Brown Sr; daughter Kristina Walking Eagle; grandparents Garfield & Zona Brown; aunt Dorothy Two Bulls; uncles Garfield Brown Jr and Elgin Brown Sr; and cousins, Orien Two Bulls, Steve Brown, Orie Brown, Alicia Provost, Consuelo Brown, Lawrence “Larry” Eagle Bull, and Jamie Lynn Eagle Bull.
