The 2023 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Preseason Poll was released today with CSC picked to finish 11 out of 15 teams.

The Eagles received 63 points, beating out Westminster, New Mexico Highlands, Black Hills State and Western Colorado.

Points values are accumulated from the league’s 15 head coaches, who ranked their opposition 1-14 without voting for their own team.

MSU-Denver had 195 points and 13 first place votes to be named the conferences favorite. The Roadrunners advanced to the D2 Volleyball Sweet 16 last season.

Second place was Regis with 181 points, while Colorado Mesa had 169 points to finish third. Both teams received one vote to finish in first place.

Behind the Mavericks, in order, were Colorado School of Mines, CSU-Pueblo, CCU, UCCS, South Dakota Mines and Fort Lewis.

The Eagles will open their season by hosting a tournament. Their opponents include York University and MSU-Moorhead on Friday, September 1, and South Dakota Mines on September 2.
