The West Nebraska All-Star football and volleyball games take place in Scottsbluff on Saturday with local athletes participating in each.
Four former Chadron High football standouts are a part of the west roster. The four include Dawson Dunbar, who played in last week’s Nebraska Shrine Bowl, Justus Alcorn, who has been named a captain of the West squad, as well as Cody Hall, and Ryan Bickel.
Logan DeCoste of Hay Springs and Logan Daringer of Gordon-Rushville are also members of the West.
A pair of Cardinals will also participate in the volleyball game as Tatum Bailey and Jacey Garrett team up one more time for the West.
The volleyball game will be held at WNCC’s Cougar Palace at 2:00 pm with the football game to kick off at 7 from Bearcat Stadium.
