Enos Leonard Black Bear was born on February 22, 1936 in Pass Creek, SD to Charlie Black Bear and Elsie (Poor Bear) Black Bear. Enos made his journey to the Spirit World on April 7, 2023 at the Avantara Mountain View Nursing Home in Rapid City, SD.
Enos is survived by his daughter Delores Black Bear-Simmons; grandchildren Jeremy Black Bear, Trevor and Joseph Simmons, Ardene Black Bear, Martha Waterbury, and Nick Turning Bear; great-grandchildren Bentley Isaac Jones and Lily Jay Jones; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Enos was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Elsie Black Bear; wife Stella Flying Hawk-Black Bear; siblings Gerald Black Bear and Rachel Black Bear-DuBray; son Larry Black Bear; and daughter Debbie Black Bear.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Black Bear, Tyler Black Bear, Phillip Black Bear, Chuck Cross Dog, Vincent DuBray, and Greg Black Bear.
