Foul Play Not Suspected In Spring Break Death At Crawford Elementary

Loading

Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug says foul play is not suspected in the death of a Crawford school district employee found unresponsive Friday morning at Crawford Elementary School.

Haug has ordered an autopsy and toxicological screening to help in determining the specific cause of death for 55-year old Diane Reynoldson.

Haug says rescue personnel and the Dawes County Sheriff’s Office, the contract law enforcement provider in Crawford, were called about 9:00 by a family member who said Reynoldson had been working at the school over spring break.

When she didn’t respond to her phone, he became worried and went to the school where he found her on the floor and unresponsive.

He immediately called 911 and Reynoldson was transported by ambulance to Chadron Community Hospital, but she could not be revived.

Haug says the preliminary investigation, which included a review of the scene and interviews of the family member and medical personnel, found nothing to suggest foul play.
