Chadron State College piano professor Dr Brooks Hafey is giving a free recital today at 3:00 in the Sandoz Center Atrium.
The latest in Hafey’s “Keyboard Through the Ages” project, today’s recital features 20th century keyboard music including some he describes as more on the electric side.
One number has Hafey plucking the strings of a partially-dismantled piano. He says restoring the piano to its usual condition will take about 2 hours.
