Gordon-Rushville’s Jace Nelson and Logan Slama finished top 10 at Saturday’s Western Trails golf meet. Nelson fired a round of 87 to finish in 3rd and Slama’s 97 was good enough for 8th place.
Mitchell’s Cael Peters took top honors by 12 strokes with a 75 and pushed the Tigers to the top of the team standings with a 366.
Bridgeport was the runner-up with a 376 while Gordon-Rushville slid in at 4th with a 469.
The Mustangs are off until Thursday’s trip to Kimball.
