The Fall 2022 Graves Lecture Series at Chadron State College begins tonight at 7:00 in the Sandoz Center, even though this is Fall Break at the college.
Leading off the fall presentations will be CSC Digital Graphic Designer Daniel Binkard, who will present a program he’s titled 10 Years of CSC Live.
Binkard will recount the history of the school’s live streaming service and show what goes on behind the scenes during a CSC live broadcast. His program is free and open to the public.
There will be two other Graves Lectures this fall. The second is in 2 weeks on November 1st when chiropractor and CSC associate professor Dr Rachelle Rider talks about how feet are the foundation of health for the body.
Her presentation, It all Starts with the Feet: How Foot Posture Affects your Body, will feature audience interaction and include a live demonstration with a patient.
The fall series concludes Nov. 15 with 3 faculty members – doctors Kurt Kinbacher, Mary Clai Jones, and Markus Jones – and CSC student Jace Demeranville talking about their 70-day bike ride this summer that took them coast-to-coast in 2 stages.
Crossing the Continent on Two Wheels: The Speed Goat Chronicles will recount their adventures of bicycling from Chadron to Washington D.C., taking a train from there to Seattle, and riding the rest of the way back to Chadron.
