Hay Springs led 48-36 with just over 4-minutes left in the game when the Broncs went on a 6-0 run to pull within 6 with 2-minutes left.

Gordon-Rushville was in a tight matchup with Bayard through a half of basketball, leading 14-12 at the break, but the Mustangs nailed free throws down the stretch for a 39-26 win in the C2-12 sub-district championship.

Bridgeport took home the C1-12 title with a 65-42 win over Chase County and South Platte defeated Morrill in the D1-12 final 68-49.

District championship pairings will be announced on Saturday after some sub-district finals were pushed back a day due to winter weather in southeastern Nebraska.
