    The NCAA softball tournament began Friday and both Nebraska and Omaha lost, leaving them facing elimination games today.
     The Huskers, playing in the Stillwater Regional, led Wichita State 5-0, only to see the Shockers score twice in the 5th and 4 times in the 6th to take a 6-5 victory with half their runs unearned.
Wichita State beat the Huskers twice back in early March.
Nebraska plays Maryland Baltimore County today at 3:30 MT with the loser going home. UMBC lost to host and 6th-seeded Oklahoma 9-0 in 5 innings.
     Omaha, in the tournament for the first time, took on the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in Baton Rouge and came up on the short end of a 5-0 loss. The Mavericks now play Prairie View, a 12-2 loser to LSU. Game time is 1:30.Â
