Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said in a release that 34 year old Amanda Eckmann did not return from a job seeking furlough Monday with her electronic monitoring device being found near north 44th and Superior streets in Lincoln.
Eckmann was originally sentenced to serve two years and six months up to seven years for criminal possession of four or more financial transaction devices and possession of a controlled substance. She started her sentence on July 24th of 2024 with a tentative release date of November 6th, 2027.
Eckmann is 5’5” weighing 120 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
