Jamie Howis Bear Robe was born on March 26, 1984 in Pine Ridge, SD to James Howard Bear Robe Sr and Rolanda Eagle Louse. Jamie made her journey to the Spirit World on December 10, 2022 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Jamie is survived by her children Isnala Win Belt, Franklin Belt, and Beatrice Belt; sisters Amaris (Dan) Swallow, Chevya Eagle Louse, and Williona Abegunde-Bear Robe; brothers Paul (Kelly) Nava, James (Kangi Luta) Bear Robe, and John (Tessie) Bear Robe; aunts Jeri Arredondo and Jocelyn Apple; uncles Alton Eagle Louse, Johnson Bear Robe, and Cecil Bear Robe; grandfather Nason Backs; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents James Howard Bear Robe Sr and Rolanda Bear Robe; paternal grandparents John and Flossie Bear Robe; maternal grandparents Charlie Eagle Louse and Goldie Broken Nose; aunt Leona Broken Nose; uncles Darnell Eagle Louse, Lenny Eagle Louse, Malcolm Eagle Louse, Darwin Eagle Louse, and Willie Bear Robe.
Pallbearers will be Monte Eagle Louse, Morgan Nava, Gentry Ribitsch, Dane Arredondo, Oscar Swallow, Mac Hinton, and Dallas Two Lance.
