A Mass of Christian Burial for 68-year old Kathleen “Kathy” Meyer will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at St James Catholic Church in Edgemont, SD, with Father Mark Horn officiating.
Burial follows at 11:30 at the Edgemont Cemetery

Kathleen Marie Meyer was born on August 29, 1955 in Igloo, SD to the late Gertrude (Bobbie) & Ephraim Brafford. Kathy made her journey to the Spirit World on July 14, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Kathy married Mitch Meyer and they lived in Edgemont, SD. She loved her family and cherished spending time with all of them and was filled with joy when she became a grandma. She loved to laugh and share stories with everyone.
Kathy is survived by her sons Bob Ray Brafford & Whitney Oster of Gillette, WY, and Tim Valenti & his wife Lori; granddaughter Bri; step-granddaughters Miranda & Hailey of Sioux Falls, SD, and Kenneth Meyer & Ashley McCabe of Deadwood, SD; brothers Dennis Brafford & Hazel of Edgemont, SD, Neil Brafford & his wife Jenny of Chadron, NE; sister Susie Brafford of Rapid City, SD; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Bobbie & Ephraim; brothers Guy Braffod and Bart Brafford; sister Lorna Jones; and her husband Mitch Meyer.
Pallbearers will be Ephriam Brafford, Chris Brafford, David Hyatt, Baptiste Brafford, Jeremy Hart, and Elliot Salway.
Honorary pallbearers will be Erica Hyatt, Georgia Rae Trundle, and All Friends & Relatives.
Kathy will be dearly missed by all and forever have a place in our hearts.
