Keep Chadron Beautiful is thrilled to announce the 15th Annual Electronic Recycling Day, a community event that wouldn’t be possible without your participation. This year, it’s scheduled for June 22, 2024, from 9 AM to 2 PM or until the trailers are filled. We’ll be at the Chadron Federal Credit Union, located at 126 East 3rd Street, Chadron, Nebraska 69337.
This year, we are proud to offer our community the opportunity to dispose of up to 20,000 pounds of electronic waste responsibly. By doing so, you’re not just getting rid of old electronics but also making a significant contribution to our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and recycling. First come first serve basis until we reach capacity.

• Accepted Items: CRT, LCD, Plasma, LED Monitors and Televisions, Portable DVD Players, Computers (Laptop, Desktop), Video Game Consoles, Network Equipment, VCRs, DVD Players, Microwaves, Stereos, Phones, Printers, Scanners, Fax Machines, Copiers, Electronic Cables, Hard Drives, Power Cords, Telecom Equipment, Modems/Routers, Tablets, and more.
• Items Not Accepted: Large kitchen appliances, small battery-powered appliances, hazardous waste, lamps, light bulbs, non-electronic items, gas-powered equipment, and more (complete list available on our website).
Cash donations are welcome and greatly appreciated before and during the event. These funds directly support our recycling programs and environmental initiatives.
