Keep Chadron Beautiful Names New Executive Director

Loading

Keep Chadron Beautiful has named long-time Chadron resident Danny Anderson as its new Executive Director, effective immediately. Anderson succeeds Susan Hucke, who resigned after 19 years to pursue new challenges.

The Keep Chadron Beautiful board says Anderson has an extensive background in nonprofit work and a deep commitment to the environmental and beautification efforts that are a hallmark of KCB’s mission.

The board says Anderson’s combination of experience and dedication to environmental stewardship make him an ideal leader to advance the organization’s objectives.

Anderson says he’s “extremely excited to lead Keep Chadron Beautiful and build on the outstanding work we’ve already accomplished in our community.”

He adds that he “eagerly anticipates collaborating with the board of directors, engaging with our community members, and broadening the scope of our initiatives.”

Anderson and the board both say that under his leadership, KCB aims to “enhance its current programs and introduce innovative initiatives that will further beautify Chadron while engaging more actively with the community.”

Coinciding with the transition in executive directors is KCB’s move from its longtime offices in the Blaine Hotel to 342 Main Street, which also houses the Dawes County Veterans Services Office.

Anderson encourages anyone wanting to know more about about Keep Chadron Beautiful and its programs to contact him at the Main Street office, by phone at  308-432-5959, or online at KeepChadronBeautiful@gmail.com
