Konrad Wayne Pumpkin Seed Sr was born on January 13, 1984 in Pine Ridge, SD to George Pumpkin Seed Sr and Shirley (Stands) Pumpkin Seed. Konrad made his journey to the Spirit World on July 13, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Konrad is survived by his children, Konrad Pumpkin Seed Jr, Kash Pumpkin Seed, Kayelor Pumpkin Seed, and Terrayah Rogers; fiancé Courtney Mesteth; step-children Baby Alex and Hayden Vasquez; sister Annette Stands-Red Owl; brothers Art Red Owl, Terence Pumpkin Seed, George Pumpkin Seed Jr, and Paul Pumpkin Seed; grandchildren Scarlett and Malani No Neck, Nalani and Nakia Red Owl, Nalana Stands, Gracyn Stands, and Kayson Bear Runner; nieces, Brittany Pumpkin Seed, Spring Pumpkin Seed, Macy Pumpkin Seed, Kendra Stands, Sadie Red Owl, and Hattie Red Owl; nephews, Kenny Stands, Garrik Stands, and Arthur Red Owl Jr; uncles Jerome High Horse Sr and Denver Pumpkin Seed; aunts Annie Red Elk & Sylvia Pumpkin Seed.
Konrad was preceded in death by his parents George Sr and Shirley Pumpkin Seed; brother Troy Pumpkin Seed; grandchildren, Simora Pumpkin Seed, Kurt Pumpkin Seed, & Evianna Brown; grandparents Marie Walks, Paul Stands, Bessie Lipp, and William Pumpkin Seed; uncles, Kenny Lakota, Leonard Haas, and William Walks; and aunts, Kathleen Walks-Brave Heart, Elfreda Huapapi, and Gloria Cottier.
Pallbearers will be RJ Red Elk, Ronald Dull Knife, Alex Richards, Andrew Iron Horse, Garrik Stands, Arthur Red Owl, Jr., Kevin Feather Earring, Kenni Stands, Myles No Neck, Konrad Pumpkin Seed, Jr., Kash Pumpkin Seed, Tanner Pierce, and Joe Sitting Up.
