     The Fall River County Sheriff’s Office reports on its Facebook page that multiple volunteer fire departments are battling multiple large fires east of Oelrichs in the vicinity of Prairie Wind Casino.
The fires are generating large amounts of smoke which is reducing visibility. With the number of firetrucks and other emergency response vehicles, authorities are urging caution to anyone traveling on Hwy 18 near the casino.
The smoke can easily be seen in Nebraska south of Chadron and as far east as Gordon.
