Lady Rams Now 2-2

Britney Klein and Keslyn Vogel led the Crawford Lady Rams last week as they went 1-1 with Gordon-Rushville and Garden County.

The Rams defeated Garden County Saturday 52-30, breaking a two-game losing streak to even their record at 2-2. Vogel scored 18 points to lead the Rams over the Eagles, while Klein earned a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. She also added seven steals to her statistics. The pair combined for five treys.

Crawford went up 12-8 early on and led 29-11 by the break. The Rams outscored Garden County 23-19 in the second half for the victory.

The Lady Rams dropped a 63-30 outing to Gordon Rushville Dec. 5, where Klein led the team with 11 points, followed by Vogel with 10 points and five rebounds. The Mustangs had three players in double digits: Hayley Johnson with 15, McKinley Grover with 14 and Taylor Trinity with 10. Gordon-Rushville raced out to a 20-9 advantage and extended that to 42-16 at half-time.
