The Crawford Lady Rams won back-to-back games this week over Banner County and Hay Springs.
The Rams rolled over Banner County 53-11 Tuesday, racing to a 13-2 early lead and up 33-3 at halftime. Crawford shut out the Wildcats in the third quarter 16-0, but Banner County was able to go on a 6-4 run in the last quarter.
Two nights later, Crawford flipped the script on Hay Springs and came away with a 47-27 win after dropping a game to the Hawks by nearly the same margin in January. The Rams led 10-7 after one quarter and extended their lead to eight by halftime. Hay Springs’ scoring went cold after the break, as they added just six points in the second half. Crawford netted 18 for the final margin.
Crawford stats are not available for either game. Mya Turman led Hay Springs with 12 points, and Julia Russell brought down six rebounds.
The Rams are now 14-8 on the year, and the Hawks are 14-6.
When the boys took the court, Hay Springs earned the win 67-39. Box scores and stats are not available. The Hawks are 15-4 this year, and the Rams are 13-8.
