The Sioux County boys split contests on the hardwood this week, dropping a game to Crawford but earning their sixth win of the season against Guernsey-Sunrise.
The Crawford Rams breezed through Tuesday’s game against the Warriors in a 56-37 win. Taylor Homan fired off 18 points, and Carter Rudloff added 12 for Crawford. The Rams led by four after one quarter but were up 29-21 at halftime after a 17-13 run in the second period. Rudloff scored half of the Ram’s second quarter points. The Warriors managed only single digits in the last two frames, while Crawford dropped another 27 to the board.
Jack Hunter led Sioux County with 13 points, and Cy Hughson and Josh Perez each contributed nine.
The Warriors rebounded from the loss with a 50-30 win over Guernsey-Sunrise Thursday. Box scores and stats for that contest are not available.
