Leslie Nicole Brien “Ametane’e” Woneya Win” was born on April 19, 1975 in Rapid City, SD to Phillip Brien and Delmarie (Dull Knife) Bradfield. Leslie made her journey to the Spirit World on April 16, 2024 at the St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO.
Leslie is survived by her mother Delmarie Bradfield; daughter Maiya Hurtado and her father Craig Hurtado; brothers Shaun Brien and Reo Bradfield; sisters Janelle (Toby) Price and Marsha (Willy) Gilpin; aunts Barbara Dull Knife, Anita Afraid of Bear, and Loretta Cook; hunka aunts Della Bad Wound, Cheryl Noisy Hawk, Sandra Gordon, Shirlyn Bravata, and Denise Francisco; uncle Wayne American Horse; grandmother Rita Holy Dance; nieces & nephews Alexander Brien, Nathaniel Brien, Jeter Bradfield, and Maddux Bradfield, Toniah Price, Davian Stands, Isabella Gilpin, Connor Gilpin, and Ronin Gilpin; and numerous cousins and relatives.
Leslie was preceded in death by her father Phillip Brien; step-father Ken Bradfield; maternal grandparents Daniel Dull Knife and Bessie (White Woman) Dull Knife; paternal grandparents, Robert Brien Sr and Ella Tall Bull; sister Lynn Swallow; aunts Charlotte White Crane and Zipproh Tall Bull; and uncles Guy Dull Knife Jr, Ronnie Brien, and Charles Tall Bull Jr.
Pallbearers are Mark Little Hawk, Howard Little Hawk, Willy Gilpin, Toby Price, Alex Bettelyoun, Daniel Dull Knife, Wilmer Youngman Jr, and Vernell White Woman Jr.
