Mamie Jesse (Lookstwice) Twiss was born on May 15, 1952 in Manderson, SD to Rueben Lookstwice and Sarah Alice Jumping Eagle. Mamie made her journey to the Spirit World on June 10, 2021 in Porcupine, SD.
Mamie is survived by her daughters, Alice (Ted) Phelps, Jr. and children, Ashley Garcia, Victoria Phelps, Jordan Phelps, Justin “Buzz” Phelps and Jaron Phelps all of Porcupine, SD, Michelle (Brandon) Alcantar and children: Marcus Swallow of Cunty Table, SD, Jessica Alcantar of Rapid City, SD, Coleman Phelps of Rapid City, SD Car Swallow of Sharps, SD, Myriam Rama of New Mexico, Alejandro Rama, Adriano Rama, Julian Tonche, Alessandra Rama all of Rapid City, SD, Jackie Alcantar and children: Mariah Mills of Thunder Valley, Justice Raven of Rapid City, SD, Christa Raven of Rapid City, SD, and Isaias Mesteth of Rapid City, SD; sons, Guadalupe Alcantar and children: Crista Alcantar of Abilene, TX, Isaiah Alcantar of New York, Arianna Rosas, Eliza Alcantar, and Gabrielle Flores of Abilene, TX, Dennis Alcantar and children: Eugene Cuny of Deadwood, SD, Mauricio Curry of Martin, SD Elyja Archambault of Fort Yates, nD, and LaDainian Cuny and Talayah Cuny both of Thunder Valley, SD; and 31 great-grandchildren.
