A Mass of Christian Burial for 73-year old Manuel Ramos will be held Thurs, May 16, 2024 at 10:00 at the St Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Rapid City, SD, with Father Ed Witt, SJ, officiating.
Burial will follow at 1:00 at the Lakota Freedom Veterans Cemetery in Kyle, SD
Visitation will be Wed, May 15, from 4-6:00 at St Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Rapid City with vigil and Rosary at 6:00 followed by a meal in the hall at the Mother Butler Center.

Manuel Louis Ramos was born on Feb 6, 1951 in Shreveport, LA to Federico Ramos and Rebecca (Hunter) Ramos. He made his journey to the Spirit World on May 4, 2024 at his home in Rapid City.
Manuel is survived by sons Arthur Brewer, Che Brewer, and Javier Ramos; brothers Monnie Ramos, Martin Ramos, and Kookie (Toni) Ramos; sister Maria Ramos; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents Federico and Rebecca (Hunter) Ramos; paternal grandparents Mateo & Maria (Rodriguez) Ramos; maternal grandparents Stephan and Maggie (Gibbons) Hunter; brothers Mateo Ramos and Maurice Ramos; paternal uncles Amador (Sara) Ramos, Dionicio “Danny” (Stella) Ramos, and Matilde Ramos; maternal aunts and uncles Len (Elvira) Hunter, Colleen (Harvey) Zephier, Al (Ethlyn) Hunter, Caroline “Dallas” “Sissy” (Fred) Claussen, Ambrose (Blonde) Hunter, Harland (Babe) Hunter, Sidney (Caroline) Hunter, Patricia “Patsy” Jackson, and John Hunter Jr; and cousins from the Ramos families, Hunter families, and Jackson family.
Pallbearers will be Kookie Ramos, Monnie Ramos, Maria Ramos, Adriana King, Alicia King, and Rebeca LaBelle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Che Brewer, Arthur Brewer, Javier Ramos, and All Friends & Relatives.
