Mareno Jason Eder Sr was born on July 3, 1974 in Pine Ridge, SD to Martin Eder and Madonna (Slow Bear) Eder. Mareno made his journey to the Spirit World on Feb 27, 2024 in Oglala, SD.
Mareno is survived by his sons Frank, John, Timmy, MJ Jr, Mahpiya Ska, Ta’yamni, MaCario, and Wakinyan; daughters Carmen, Rose, Ivee, and Marena; brother John Eder; special friend Teena Long; sister Eugenia Rowland; grandchildren Taja, Caelina, Azariah, Azarius, Wynter, Aura, Novalee, Kyroand EJ; aunts Corrine Brave, Annie Slow Bear-Mills, Angie Roan Eagle, and Trivian Gallas; uncle Donnie Slow Bear; mother-in-law Marie Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Mareno was preceded in death by his parents Martin Dale Eder and Madonna (Slow Bear) Eder; daughter Wiyaka Long Black Cat-Eder; maternal grandparents Andrew Slow Bear Sr and Mary Slow Bear; father-in-law John Long Sr; aunts Nellie Slow Bear, Philomene Slow Bear, Lena Slow Bear, and Irma Slow Bear; uncles Ben Slow Bear, Floyd Slow Bear, Benjamin Slow Bear, and Andrew Slow Bear Jr; and granddaughter, Raelynn Cottier.
