Funeral services for 64-year old Marty Muck of Gordon, NE, are Sat, Jan 22, 2022, at 10:00 at the Wellspring Chapel in Gordon.

Burial is in the Gordon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan and Jeff Hugen, Larry Bostock, Jim Paul, Alan and Jake August. 

Visitation is Friday, Jan 21, from 4 to 6 pm at the Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home in Gordon.

A memorial has been established and donations may be sent in care of the Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343

Marty Allen Muck was born to Richard (Dick) Everett Muck and Sharon K (Hale) Muck on Dec 30, 1957. He passed from this life to the next on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE. 

His loving parents brought Marty home to the Muck ranch south of Gordon.  He loved ranching and farming. He loved the river and wildlife and all his family, neighbors, where he raised his children.  Marty was a friend to all and enjoyed going to town and calling to check on his all his neighbors.

Marty enjoyed his cattle ranching and driving hay trucks. He also detailed cars with his father as worked side-by-side with his mom. 

He also enjoyed puzzles and watching wildlife on the river, where the Mucks had an elk ranch and raised buffalo.  The last few years he enjoyed traveling to Colorado with his partner Pam, and also enjoyed his loving dogs Max, Penny, Rudy, and many barn cats. 

Marty is survived by his partner, Pam Phillips, and his children: oldest daughter Danette, son Jason, daughter Heidi. and son Jeremy as well as 4 grandchildren: Cecilia, Madison, Hunter and Joleen. 

He is also survived by his brother Todd Muck, sister Khristi, brother-in-law Troy Downey, aunt Vicky (Ralph) Northery, aunt Donna and Ron Jensen, uncle Gary Muck, aunt Ila Mae Johnson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins he loved and thought a lot of. 

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sharon Muck, his grandparents, and older brother Richard Lee Muck.
