Marvin Joseph “Dondi” Brave Jr was born on October 20, 1966 in Pine Ridge, SD, to Marvin Brave Sr and Fedelia (Swift Bird) Brave. Marvin made his journey to the Spirit World on July 11, 2022, at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Marvin is survived by his son Franklin Brave; numerous grandchildren; sister Lillian Avril Stands; aunts Vanetta Swift Bird and Corrine Brave; and cousin Daryl Goings.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Marvin Brave Sr and Fedelia (Swift Bird) Brave; son Marvin J Brave III; and siblings Jon W Brave, Tara Lynn (Brave) Long, and Alan “Tinker” Brave.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Goings Jr, Wayne Swift Bird Jr, Mitchell L Brave Jr, Pete Brown Eyes, Albert Brave, Derrick Brave, Donovan Kills Small, and Hoksila Blacksmith.
