NCAP Head Start is pleased to announce the launch of its Teacher Appreciation Fund in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, which runs from May 8th thru May 12th. The fund aims to recognize and support the hardworking teachers, home visitors, and staff who provide
high-quality education to children in our Early Head Start and Head Start centers.
Jennifer Sorenson, the Director of Head Start, expressed her excitement about the Teacher Appreciation Fund, saying, “Our teachers, staff, and home visitors play a vital role in our program, and we want to show our appreciation and support for their hard work and dedication.”
The NCAP Head Start program has been providing Head Start programs to families in Box Butte, Dawes, Cherry, and Sheridan Counties for over 55 years. The program is committed to providing high-quality education and support to children and families in the community.
To show your appreciation and support for the teachers and staff who work diligently to ensure children receive the best possible education, you can make a donation to the Teacher Appreciation Fund. Community members are invited to contribute to this initiative.
A few quotes from parents this school year reflect the value of the NCAP Head Start program. One parent said, “The staff have gone above and beyond their call of duty to help me and my family.” Another parent said, “I love how welcoming this program is for me and my family!”
