Northwest Nebraska Trails Association Annual Meeting Is Thursday – Site Correction

Loading

The Northwest Nebraska Trails Association holds its annual meeting this Thursday at the Ridgeview Country Club. It begins with a social half-hour at 5:30 followed by the meeting at 6:00..

Board President Dr Britt Helmbrecht says the meeting is open to all hiking and trail enthusiasts – members or not – who will have a chance to connect while learning about the association’s projects and events.

Helmbrecht says the meeting agenda includes an exciting update on the Cowboy Trail Connection, which will bring the hiking-biking trail that starts in Norfolk the final mile to downtown Chadron.

There will also be a presentation from the Friends of the White River Trail in Crawford about their recent successes, especially with the Cheyenne Healing Trail.

Helmbrecht says the Northwest Nebraska Trails Association has accomplished so much in the past 7 years, but still has much the members want to do to make the hiking and biking experience in the region even better.

The association is alway looking for new members and to get more people involved in the group’s decision-making process – including serving on its board.

Anyone interested in more information about the Northwest Nebraska Trails Association can go to its Facebook page or email nwnebraskatrails@gmail.com.     Annual membership dues can be paid at tonight’s meeting online at the association’s website nwnebraskatrails.com.
