Funeral services for 66-year old Oliver “Buff” Good Buffalo Jr are Tues, Oct 4, 2022 at 10:00 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, with Ms Joyce Tibbitts and Deacon Bill White officiating.
Burial is at the Holy Rosary Mission Catholic Cemetery in Pine Ridge.
A one-night wake service starts Monday, Oct 3, at 1:00 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge with rosary beginning at 6 PM.
Oliver J Good Buffalo Jr was born on September 6, 1956 in Rapid City, SD to Oliver Good Buffalo Sr and Ida Pumpkin Seed. Oliver Jr made his journey to the Spirit World on September 25, 2022 at his home in Pine Ridge, SD.
Oliver is survived by his son Dominic Good Buffalo; siblings Sharon Stratton, Marty Goings Sr, Melody Talbot, Joyce Goings, Fern Goings and Sallie Goings; special friend Virginia Bissonette; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Oliver was preceded in death by his father Oliver Good Buffalo Sr; mother, Ida Pumpkin Seed; sister Bernadette “Wuggs” Bordeaux; brothers Francis Good Buffalo, Richard Goings, Michael Goings, Victor Goings, and Duane “Red” Goings; uncle Louie Good Buffalo; cousins Matthew and Henry Good Buffalo and nephew Steve Brown.
Pallbearers will be Lyndon Brown, Terran Mills, Steven Brown Jr, Cody Brown, Jason Brown, Lawrence Lewis, Marcus Bordeaux, Paul Albert Goings, Theodore Coomes Jr, and Meco Goings.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
