The same week a score of 78 wasn’t good enough for a top 10 finish, Chadron’s Chase Olson shot a 77 on Friday at the rescheduled Alliance Invite and walked away with top honors. Broc Berry also jumped into the top 10 with a 7th place finish following his round of 82.
Zane Cullers just missed an individual medal by a stroke with an 86. Gage Wild was 3 more back with an 89 to fill out the Chadron scorecard.
The day also delivered the best team score the Cardinals have had this season with a 334, just four strokes behind champion Scottsbluff. Alliance and Gering tied for 3rd with 345’s.
Chadron will head to Gering next Wednesday.
