A one-night wake service starts at 3:00 PM, Wed, May 31, at 3:00 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gym in Pine Ridge with evening services at 7:00

Patrick Francis Carlow Sr “Cetan Okicize” was born on August 30, 1949 in Pine Ridge, SD, to Rober L Carlow and Arta Elizabeth (Irving) Carlow. Patrick Sr made his journey to the Spirit World on May 19, 2023 at his home in Oglala, SD.
Patrick is survived by his children Lisa Carlow, Patrick “Hot Shot” Carlow Jr, JoDee (Favorite Son-in-Law Ken Wike) Carlow, and Patricia Carlow; sisters Wynema DeLong, Phoebe Carlow, Joyce (Terry) Pourier, and Ella John (Bill Pourier) Carlow; brothers Irving “Bud” Pond and Michael (Marilyn) Carlow Sr; grandchildren Alexis Carlow, Tanner Carlow, Patrick Carlow III, Nicholas Carlow, Jordan Wilson, Blake, Jacob, MacKenzie, Koen, Coletta, Delores, & Baby Ken Wike; great grandchildren Eisley Carlow, Amari Carlow, Rowan Carlow, Patrick F. Carlow IV, Daisy Long Warrior, Mary Bear Saves Life, Cherish Dream Rouillard, Kaydence Moves Camp, and Little Arta Winters; hunka sons Brannon Cousin and Jacob Cousin; hunka daughter Tricia Pond; and hunka brother Leo Two Bulls.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Arta Carlow; grandparents Benjamin and Nancy Irving; siblings Darwin “Bogie” Carlow Sr, Nancy Akers, Phyliss Geibel, Lila Pond, Barney Janis, Robert Charging Crow, Junior Pond, and Fred Pond; and grandson Trace Jacob Davis.
Pallbearers will be Ken Wike, Jacob Wike, Mackenzie Wike, Tanner Carlow, Patrick Carlow III, Nicholas Carlow, Leo Two Bulls, Cass Waters, Brian “Super” Kindle, and Rob Morrison.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
