Funeral services for 40-year old Winston “George” Little are Monday, May 29, 2023 at 11:00 at Our Lady of the Sioux Catholic Church in Oglala, SD, with Father Joe Daoust, SJ, and Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating.

Cremation will follow the services.

Winston (George) Little was born on October 9, 1982 to Paul Joseph Little and Elizabeth F. (Garnier) Little. He made his journey to the Spirit World on May 13, 2023 in Denver, CO. 

George attended school at Loneman School in Oglala for early elementary, then went to Oelrichs School in Oelrichs, SD, before graduating from Pine Ridge High School in Pine Ridge, SD, in May 2002. 

Following graduation, George moved to Denver, CO seeking employment and soon began his career with the Denver Mint. He lived and worked in Denver, CO until his death. 

Winston is survived by his mother Elizabeth (Garnier) Little; wife Toni Little; children Isabella Little and Elijah Little; children through marriage Darian, Santino, and Vanity; siblings Tanya Little of Denver; Darcy Rae and Jody Kay of Savannah, GA; Casey Bradshaw of Oelrichs; and Mickey Bradshaw of Chadron, NE; many cousins; aunts Helena Little of Rapid City and Wanda Garnier of Oglala; and uncles Mike Little of Pine Ridge, SD, and Ernie (Liz) Little of Oglala. 

Winston was preceded in death by his father Paul J Little; sister Paula J Little; paternal grandparents Wallace Little Sr, Mildred (Cuny) Little, Edsel Little Sky, Adele Bense, Bill Kills Enemy, Richard, John, Jimmy, Don, Wallace Jr, and Bobby Little, Lorraine Peil, Nadine Rendon, and Lavonne Little; maternal grandparents Oliver L Garnier and Evelyn (Tobacco) Garnier; uncles, Oliver (Cowboy) Garnier, Will J Garnier, and Clarence Williams; aunts, Violette L Her Many Horses, Oliver Brings Him Back, and Jennie (Ike) Stands Pallbearers will be Darian Paz, Santino Lopez, Jody Baerga, Fred Lucero, Lucus Mattsemus, Jeremiah Cuny, and Brian Kindle. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Vanity Rodriguez, Classmates from Loneman School, Oelrichs School, and Pine Ridge High School, and All Friends & Relatives.
