Burial is at the St Thomas Episcopal Cemetery in Manderson.

Phillip Thomas Bissonette Sr was born on February 13, 1971 in Pine Ridge, SD to Rudolph Bissonette Sr and Madeline (Little Dog) Bissonette. Phillip made his journey to the Spirit World on January 22, 2022, at his home in Manderson, SD.
Phillip is survived by his father, Rudolph Bissonette Sr; significant other Tamara Villarreal; children Natasha Bissonette, Nicole (Henry) Bissonette, Chico (Jamie) Bissonette, Brandon Bissonette, Tyson Bissonette, and Lemans Little Eagle; stepson Daniel Villarreal; sisters Rita Bissonette and Loveletta Iron Horse; brothers Tyrone Bissonette Sr, and Michael “Red” Bissonette Sr; grandchildren Kimimila Chase Alone, Vanessa Bissonette, Rhianna Palmier, Lucis Palmier, Erin Palmier, Cattleya Bissonette, Cason Bissonette, Cairo Bissonette, Tate Bissonette, Tyson Bissonette Jr, Corrina Villarreal, Mercedez Bissonette, Martayne Bissonette, Kaylove Bissonette, John Clifford, Katherine Red Cloud, and Gloria Red Cloud; great-grandson Kingstyn Chase Alone; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Phillip was preceded in death by his mother Madeline (Little Dog) Bissonette; brother Rudolph Bissonette Jr; nephews Jessie Patton, David Iron Horse Jr, Konrad Iron Horse Sr. and Roger Bissonette Jr; nieces Jolene Patton and Darlene Bissonette; brother-in-law David “Sonny” Iron Hors, Sr; stepson Cole Villarreal; aunties Willene Little Dog and Pam Little Dog; and uncles Robert Little Dog Sr and Joseph Little Dog Sr.
