Funeral services for 51-year old Priscilla Duffy-Long Soldier are Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church in Oglala, SD, with Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Jerome LeBeaux and Mr Ivan Looking Horse

Burial is at St Peter’s Episcopal Cemetery in Lakeside-Oglala.

A one-night wake service starts Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:30, also at the Makasan Presbyterian Church in Oglala.

Priscilla Ann Duffy-Long Soldier “Oyate Iyuha Wanyanke Win” was born on July 1, 1970 in Pine Ridge, SD to Verdell Long Soldier and Louise Blacksmith. Priscilla made her journey to the Spirit World on September 26, 2021 in Rapid City, SD.

Priscilla is survived by her children, Tiaunne Duffy of Ohio, Kelsey Dakota Duffyof New York, Darryl Duffy, Jr., Sean Duffy, Chaylee S. Pourier, Emonee Rose Pourier, Samantha Jo Pourier, and Shawnee M. Pourier; father, Verdell Long Soldier; sisters, Fedelia (Robert) Cross, Ina Mae Espinosa, Marian Poor Bear, Elizabeth “Liz” (Orin) Morrison, Melissa Blacksmith, Julie Blacksmith, Vonna (Sonny) Kills In Water, Sage (Austin) Blacksmith, Karen Blacksmith, and Lenora Blacksmith; brother, Delayne Blacksmith; sister-in-laws, Candy Pourier and Mary Kamerzell; and brother-in-laws, Pierre, Hobert, Steve, Gary, and Mike Pourier.
